Hello and welcome. What you'll find here are mostly random thoughts and musings as I journey through the last stage of my life. I was amazed when I reached the century mark and now, at 60, I'm looking forward to pulling all the loose threads back into the fabric of my life. I'm so lucky to be healthy and to have gained status of "crone" which is an elder wise woman.

Hmmm, my brain tells me that I still need to grow up while I keep finding new creaks in my body. I now know why having a soft cozy bed in the evening helps me get up in the morning.

I've just finished signing up for Thistle Threads casket course. The journey will take 18 months to begin the process of creating a casket (a keepsake box) with the second course (18 months) in learning to create the story I want to embroider onto the box.

This will be an interesting process and I will be posting more about my work as it progresses.
